My Favorite Non-Toxic Hair Products
Hair products that are actually clean and effective are so hard to find in my experience! I’ve spent the last 7 years of my life trying and testing all the “clean” brands out there, and here are my faves that I use for my hair routine.
Shampoo/Conditioner: Tree To Tub
Clean shampoo and conditioner were by far the hardest hair product for me to find! I went through so many that left my scalp greasy and itchy or that didn’t clean enough, and this set from Tree to Tub has been a total game changer. It smells amazing, has all clean and safe ingredients, and cleans and smooths my hair so well! Since I’ve started using it I typically only have to wash my hair 1-2 times a week.
The shampoo is super sudsy and amazing, and the conditioner works better the longer you’re able to leave it on your hair before washing it off.
Leave In Conditioner: Carina Organics
This leave in conditioner adds the perfect amount of shine and softness to my hair! I typically use it on wet hair before blow-drying, but I have also used it on dry hair to tame frizz and flyaways.
Volume: Innersense Beauty volumizing foam
I just recently started using this product and I love it! My hair is thick and heavy so it can get weighed down and flat at the roots, and this foam really helps add lift to my roots! It took me a little bit to get used to the smell but now I love it - my husband even asked me the first time I wore it if I was wearing perfume!
Hairspray: Carina Organics
I also had a hard time finding a clean hairspray, but this one from Carina organics is amazing! It creates great hold without being crunchy, and they also sell it in bulk sizes so you can cut down on plastic waste too.
Divi Hair Serum
This serum is my FAVORITE product to use on days in between washes! It’s detoxifying and promotes hair growth, but I use it primarily to clean my scalp on days that I’m not washing my hair. It leaves my scalp feeling so refreshed and revitalized without being greasy! I especially love the tingly feeling it gives.
