Everything I Wore While In NYC
This week I got to go on a quick work trip to NYC, and it was an absolute blast! I have visited NYC several times since I was little, and every time I visit I have such a great time. I love all the walking you get to do, all the personality of the different neighborhoods - and of course, the fashion!
For this trip the weather was very warm, so I was trying to be mindful of bringing outfits that were comfortable, chic, and still breezy enough that I wouldn’t get too sweaty while walking around. Here’s everything I wore:
Day 1: Travel Day
This Free People dupe from Amazon is one of my favorite Amazon finds to date! I knew on the day I flew in I’d basically be going straight from the airport to the office for work, so I needed something comfortable but still chic, and this set worked perfectly. The sweater material kept me warm on the plane, and I got so many compliments throughout the day wearing it! I paired it with my Veja Campo sneakers and this amazing crossbody bag that was perfect for carrying all my essentials while walking around.
Night 1: Work Event
The warm weather this trip was the perfect opportunity for me to break out this blazer and short combo from H&M! I love the length of these shorts for a work event - they’re a bit longer and more work appropriate for my industry. I dressed it up with these amazing Stella + Ruby earrings that I got a few years ago - unfortunately they’ve been out of stock, but I linked a similar option for you.
Day/Night 2: Work and Play
Day two was a half work day, half fun day! I started the day off with a meeting and then wore this cropped tee and linen pant combo for the rest of the day as we shopped, dined, and had a good time. The linen pants were amazing - they kept me cool in the heat of the day and felt so chic and effortless!
Day 3: Travel Day
And just like that, it was time to leave! I woke up, had a quick breakfast in bed, and headed to the airport. I love wearing chic yet comfortable looks on travel days, and this biker short and button down combo fit the bill! I was so comfortable for the entire flight - and my trusty Vejas were perfect for all the walking.
