My Travel Outfit and Luggage For Flying To NYC
I got to go on a work trip to New York City this week, and it was an absolute blast! My favorite part about planning any trip is planning outfits - here is what I wore on travel day flying from Denver to NYC.
TWO-PIECE SWEATER SET
The moment I saw this two piece sweater set online I knew it would be perfect for travel, and it definitely didn’t disappoint! The fabric is high quality and cozy, and I love that it’s both comfy and super chic. I got so many compliments when I wore it!
I ordered a size small and it has the most perfect, slightly oversized fit. And it comes in lots of different color combinations in case you’d rather not wear white pants :)
SHOES
My Veja Campo sneakers are always my go-to for traveling. They are super sturdy, easy to clean, and (most importantly) SUPER comfortable for lots of walking!
LUGGAGE + BAGS
I am the BIGGEST fan of all things BEIS, and have several of their pieces - they are simply the most well-designed travel bags out there, and worth every penny. For this trip I brought my carry-on suitcase (which fits SO much stuff) and my hanging cosmetics case. I also just got this new makeup bag from Amazon which I absolutely LOVE.
I have had the BEIS convertible weekender for a few years now and love using it for travel, but I decided to give this weekender bag from Target a try since it’s such an affordable option, and so far I’ve loved it! It fits easily under the seat (even sitting upright) and is roughly the same size as the BEIS weekender. The only thing is that there are basically no interior pockets for organizing, so you need to be sure to have organizing pouches (I like these ones from Amazon) - otherwise you could easily lose things in this bag.
Last - I knew I needed a good, minimalist crossbody bag for walking around the city, and this one from Amazon did not disappoint! It had a good capacity for being a small bag, and it held all the essentials for walking around all day.
